CiCi Segura Gonzales
Andres Montoya

Sam Baray

The Avenue 50 Studio presents an exhibition of LA Latino artists speaking to issues of identity, nationalism, and historical consciousness in the 21st century. This visual conversation regarding Chicano/Latino identity in the United States and its relationship to its Spanish historical roots is the first step towards the start of a long-term relationship. “Commun i qué” will coincide with the Seville Art Biennale taking place throughout Seville. Our artists, Andrés Montoya, CiCi Segura Gonzalez, Sam Baray, and Oscar Sanabria, will represent Los Angeles at this Art Biennale. We are very proud to participate in this very first International Art Exchange.

“Commun i qué”, at the Murnau Art Gallery in Seville, Spain, will take place from October 3-30, 2008

Proudly sponsored by Laborers Int'l Union of N America #300
