Closing Event

Power Points

Kevin Hass - Photographs

Standard Model - Karl Jean Gurely-Petion

We invite you to join us on this last day of our exhbitions Power Points and Kevin Hass Photographs.  On this last day, we will be able to take a final look at Nancy Buchanan's Power Point exhibition in which Francisco Letelier's poetically personal body of work incorporates the Popo Vuh and the golden age of Mayan civilization; Chusien Chang's imagery honors our largest mammal the intelligent, wise and gifted elephant; and Karl Jean Gurley-Petion expressionistically paints stories of the Hatian experience.

On this closing day, you will be able to discuss all things photography with master photographer Kevin Hass.  Kevin is one of a dying breed of photographers who actually prints his lucious photographs by hand -- with the help of an enlarger of course.

We are proud to announce that Kevin Hass will be participating in the Month of Photography LA that is taking place throughout Los Angeles this March and April.  (About MOPLA:  In April 2009, the inaugural Month of Photography Los Angeles showcased the enormous photography community, inclusive of commercial, fine art and photojournalism. As the second largest photography community in the United States, Los Angeles provides a distinctive backdrop to the celebration of the photographic image.)
